In this free course, I’ll walk you step-by-step through constructing a cowl-neck bias draped bodice & skirt using Draping technique, converting it to a pattern, and finishing the dress.

Construction Details and Steps:
- The muslin preparation
- The bodice draped on Bias
- Creative fold and pre- application applied to fabric and draped for skirt
- The draped pieces are marked and transferred to the paper
- The sewable pattern created
- Cut and sew details for top fabric and the lining
- Hand finishings
- Review of styling
Fabric detail and usage:
- Approximately, 1.5 yards Lightweight silk for top fabric ben used
- Approximately 1.5 yards lightweight Silk Habotai for lining
- 22” soft invisible zipper
- Small hook and eye

Any fabric that has a good drape, meaning it is flowy, hangs and moves in a fluid manner.
