In this session, I taught how to cut the pattern pieces and interface them for a fitted garment. I demonstrated the process of carefully cutting the fabric pieces, ensuring they were securely pinned, and trimming any excess fabric for a close fit. I also covered cutting the interfacing pieces and preparing them for fusing.

Lesson Steps:

• Cut the main fabric pieces, pinning securely and trimming excess for a close fit
• Cut the interfacing pieces, folding the front and back pieces separately
• Pin the interfacing pieces to the corresponding fabric pieces
• Fuse the interfacing to the fabric pieces using an iron
• Sew the interfaced fabric pieces together
• Prepare to attach the sewn pieces to a dress form for padding and draping
