How I Store My Patterns

In this guide, I demonstrate how I organize my sewing patterns by storing them in manila envelopes.

I recommend printing out a picture of the finished garment and attaching it to the front of the envelope for easy identification.

Additionally, I suggest writing down important details such as the size, fabric used, and any other relevant information on the envelope, essentially creating a comprehensive record for each pattern.

Steps:

  1. Gather your sewing patterns and manila envelopes.
  2. For each pattern, print out a picture of the finished garment (if available) and place it at the front of the corresponding envelope.
  3. On the envelope, write down important details such as the size, fabric used, and any other relevant information you want to record.
  4. Store the patterns neatly in the envelopes for easy organization and identification.
