Embroidered Bomber Jacket & Riding Pants

So this is my version of Streetwear 🙂

I designed this in 2018, and the Jacket and the pants were first originally drafted by my employee, but I had to remake the whole pattern after my first fitting with a real model. That’s why I usually go to draping from the beginning now. It’s so much easier in my experience.

So the Jacket is a raglan sleeve bomber jacket with a gathered high-neckline. For the jacket pattern, drafting and draping have been used.

The fabrics I chose were a silk crepe back satin for sleeves, and matte silk viscose body.
I used a tight knitted rib around for the cuff.
Gold Excella zipper, and rayon grosgrain pull string.

I only lined the body of the jacket not the sleeves, the touch of sleeves fabrics is super soft.

After I sewed the jacket, and before I put lining, I ironed on knit fusible interfacing to the back of the jacket from inside.
Then I added rose embroidered appliqué pieces to the back of the jacket, and hand sewed the whole piece.
At last I hand-attached the silk habotai lining to the back and the front body of the jacket.

Riding pants have luxurious hand sewn flower-embroidery appliqué on neoprene with two leather patches on the sides of the knees.
An invisible zipper is attached to inner leg at the bottom of the pants.
The pants have a 2 inch waistband and pockets.

I’d gladly answer any questions you might have!

Cheers 🙂
