In this week’s session, I focused on attaching the zipper to the Freya dress and began work on the lining. I demonstrated the process of pinning and sewing the zipper, ensuring a clean finish. We also discussed the upcoming changes to Draping Society, including new workshops and an Instagram account for inspiration.

Demonstration Steps:

1. Pinned and sewed the silver zipper to the back of the dress
2. Checked the fit and appearance of the zipper on the dress form
3. Began working on the lining, discussing techniques for shaping and attaching it
4. Demonstrated how to pin and adjust the lining on the dress form for proper fit and drape
