In this session, I reviewed the measurements and design for the full circle skirt of the Debbie dress. I explained that I wanted a two-half circle skirt with a center back seam, resulting in three seams total. I also provided the circumference measurement for the waist, which will be used to draft the skirt pattern.

Lesson Steps:

  • Determined the back width as 44 cm and the front width as 43 cm, totaling 87 cm for the waist circumference.
  • Decided on a two-half circle skirt design with a center back seam.
  • The skirt will have three seams in total: one center back seam and two side seams.
  • Noted that the next step is to draft the skirt pattern based on the 87 cm waist circumference measurement.
