In this session, I demonstrated the final steps of assembling the cowl neck bias draped dress, including attaching the lining to the outer shell and finishing the bottom hem. The end result is a flowy, flirty dress with a draped cowl neckline and bias-cut skirt.

Lesson Steps:

  • Attached the lining to the outer shell of the dress
  • Hand-sewed the lining along the side zipper areas
  • Finished the bottom hem of the dress
  • Tried on the completed dress on the dress form
  • Showed the front, side, and back views of the finished dress

I truly enjoyed creating this bias draped dress and hope you found the process as enjoyable and rewarding as I did. I look forward to our next dressmaking project together!
