In this session, I provided an overview of the steps involved in sewing the Amanda Jacket.
I explained the different components of the jacket and the order in which I planned to assemble them.
Lesson Steps:
- Close the darts on the front and back pieces
- Attach the bias binding to the center back seam, side seams, and shoulder seams
- Decide whether to add bias binding around the neckline and armholes
- Mark the notches on the side seams where the panels will be attached
- Attach the front, back, and side panels together
- Determine where to add additional bias binding after assembling the jacket
