In this session, I provided an overview of the steps involved in sewing the Amanda Jacket.

I explained the different components of the jacket and the order in which I planned to assemble them.

Lesson Steps:

• Close the darts on the front and back pieces
• Attach the bias binding to the center back seam, side seams, and shoulder seams
• Decide whether to add bias binding around the neckline and armholes
• Mark the notches on the side seams where the panels will be attached
• Attach the front, back, and side panels together
• Determine where to add additional bias binding after assembling the jacket
