I teach how to draft facing and lining patterns for a high-waisted tapered skirt.

I demonstrate the process of creating facing patterns for both the front and back of the skirt, as well as drafting lining patterns that accommodate the skirt’s design features, including the back vent.

1. Create facing patterns for front and back skirt
2. Draft front lining pattern
3. Draft back lining patterns (two pieces to accommodate vent)
4. Add seam allowances and notches
5. Label all pattern pieces
