In this session, I demonstrated how to sew the linen dress pieces together after draping and patterning on the muslin.

I showed the steps to attach the front and back pieces, pin the dress on the dress form for fitting adjustments, and hand-baste the side seams.

Lesson Steps:

• Attached the center front and side front pieces together at bust, waist, and hip notches
• Repeated for the other front side piece
• Joined the front pieces at the center front seam
• Sewed the back pieces together at side seams
• Attached front and back at shoulder seams, leaving side seams open
• Pinned the dress on the dress form, adjusting for fit
• Pinned the center back seam close to zipper area
• Hand-basted the side seams using a running stitch
• Locked stitches at key points like neckline and armholes
