In this lesson, I taught how to create an asymmetric dart bodice pattern. I demonstrated how to transfer the draped muslin to paper, make necessary adjustments, and finalize the pattern. I also provided tips on how to use this pattern as a base for future designs.

Lesson Steps:

  1. Transfer the draped muslin to dot paper, aligning the center front
  2. Pin the muslin to the paper and trace the lines with a tracing wheel
  3. Remove the muslin and connect the traced marks to create the pattern
  4. Close the darts on the pattern and make adjustments
  5. Check and correct symmetry and measurements
  6. Finalize the armhole and neckline curves
  7. Add pattern information and markings
  8. Optionally add seam allowance or keep as a base sloper

I also shared some designer tips, such as taking pictures of inspiring designs and archiving them with their corresponding patterns for future use.
