In this lesson, I taught how to create three basic t-shirt patterns with varying designs. I demonstrated how to make a simple rectangular t-shirt, a triangular-shaped t-shirt, and an unconventional design with an off-center neckline. I provided measurements and explained how to adjust them based on individual body sizes.

Lesson Steps:

  1. Create a basic rectangular t-shirt pattern
  2. Measure and mark the fold line, arm openings, and length
  3. Design a triangular-shaped t-shirt by curving the bottom edge
  4. Develop an unconventional t-shirt design with an off-center neckline
  5. Adjust measurements for each design based on body size
  6. Consider ease and stretch when determining final measurements
  7. Cut patterns, ensuring proper placement on fold or separate pieces as needed

Remember, these are basic patterns that you can customize to fit your body and style preferences. The key is to understand the fundamental shapes and how to modify them for different designs.
