In this lesson, I taught how to sew together various t-shirt designs we had previously created. I demonstrated sewing techniques for different styles, including a basic T-shaped shirt, one with softer side seams, a color-blocked version, and a more complex design with unique arm construction.

Lesson Steps:

  • Sew the side seams of the basic T-shaped t-shirt
  • Assemble the red-line t-shirt with softer side seams
  • Put together the green-line color-blocked t-shirt, focusing on side and shoulder seams
  • Construct the upside-down T-shaped piece
  • Sew the final, more complex design, starting with the arm seams and finishing with the round piece
  • Make adjustments as needed, such as cutting to relieve tight areas
  • Try on the finished pieces to check fit and appearance
