1. Prepare the dress form with reference points
2. Add style tape to mark the surplice line
3. Measure and cut muslin pieces for front and back
4. Drape the first front piece, creating gathers and pleats
5. Mark reference points on the first front piece
6. Drape the back piece and create the back dart
7. Drape the second front piece
8. Create and adjust the front dart
9. Mark all reference points on both front pieces and back
10. Assemble the pieces together to check the overall fit and appearance
